This website aims to cover this topic and presents own as well as other published studies about energy efficiency and water sanitation issues related to spas, also referred to as hot tub, whirlpool or jacuzzi. The information provided aims to objectively assist current and future spa owners to

• allow simple energy measurements and ratings of their own spa model
• compare the energy efficiency of different spa models and brands (benchmark)
• inform about effective ways to further improve the energy efficiency
• inform about effective and environment friendly water sanitation methods
• use as an independent buyers guide

We collect energy consumption data reported by spa manufactures and spa users. We also carry out 'controlled climate' and 'open environment' testing according to customised specification and consult companies in energy efficiency issues. We do not manufacture or sell spas!
